Atelier.

Atelier.

When my professor challenged our creativity with an infographic project on aging in place during our third-year studio class, I embarked on a vision for the golden years of intellectuals, artists, and scholars in the heart of Manhattan, New York. Inspired by the concept of an "Atelier" – a workshop or studio for artists and designers – I dared to dream big.

The dream? Acquiring a historic hotel in the heart of NYC and transforming it into an ultra-modern 55+ collective, redefining retirement living with unparalleled luxury. Extensive research led to a fusion of retirement needs with a touch of opulence – think in-house concierge service, exclusive group trips to theater shows, on-site workshops, holistic wellness practitioners, and even an upscale coffee shop and restaurant. Residents can summon room service and indulge in Atelier-branded toiletries at their doorstep.

I poured my creativity into an enticing sales flyer, showcasing Atelier's essence for the locals. This creation didn't just stay in the classroom; it earned an Honorable Mention at the Radford University Graphic Design Awards, backed by a sponsorship from a Virginia Tech graphic design professor. Next stop? The illustrious American Advertising Awards, affectionately known as the ADDY Awards – is the pinnacle of recognition in the advertising industry.

To provide a comprehensive view of the Atelier world, I crafted a distinctive logo, an attention-grabbing rack card, and an immersive booklet. This wasn't just a project; it was a journey into reimagining retirement living at its finest.
